Vol. 1: Heian shodan - Starting with the Heian shodan, the first Karate Kata form, Sensei Werner Lind demonstrates in this series of videos how to find the contents of Kata techniques by analyzing it thoroughly, and how to find effective methods of self-defense. For the first time, decoding concepts for the Kata Heian shodan will be presented. You will not only see applications of the techniques, but also their interpretation and backgrounds. Also, the techniques of the older Okinawan Pinan Kata will be considered. The resulting Bunkai contains all classical methods and is systematically developed from more simple to more complex techniques

Vol. 2: Heian nidan - With the Kata Heian nidan, Sensei Werner Lind demonstrates how to find the contents of the Kata techniques by analyzing it thoroughly, and how to find effective methods of self-defense. For the first time, decoding concepts for the Kata Heian nidan will be presented. You will not only see applications of the techniques, but also their interpretation and backgrounds. Also, the techniques of the older Okinawan Pinan Kata will be considered. The resulting Bunkai contains all classical methods and is systematically developed from more simple to more complex techniques.
Vol. 3: Heian sandan - The techniques of the Heian sandan and Pinan sandan will be demonstrated on this video, starting with more simple techniques and developing into more complex methods, according to the BSK system of Bunkai analysis. Originally, this Kata was used as an introduction for close combat, so this video will show techniques with short distances in detail. These foundations are important in order to understand the Bunkai methods of more advanced Kata. In addition to the complete demonstration of the Kakie Kata ("sticky hands" Kata), many classical methods of routine exercises (Renzoku waza) and Kyushojutsu (science of vital point stimulation), the BSK teachers demonstrate a detailed system of defending against grips (Goshin Kumite).
Vol. 4: Heian yondan - On this video, Werner Lind and the BSK teachers demonstrate the classical Bunkai of the Kata Heian yondan and Pinan yondan. The Heian yondan is an advanced Kata of the Heian group. It contains the sum of all former principles in long, medium and close fighting distances. For the first time, an extensive Bunkai in all distances is feasible. The change of fighting distances will be especially underlined in this video and you will see methods of how to handle changing distances in a real combat situation. The Renzoku systems (repetitve exercises) of this Kata vary constantly from one distance to the next. If you want to understand and learn the classical Bunkai of this Kata then you must study this video.
Vol. 5: Heian godan - In this video Werner Lind and the BSK teachers show the classical Bunkai of the Kata Heian godan and Pinan godan. This kata can positively be designated as an advanced kata because its bunkai is as wide-ranging and complex as the bunkai of the higher kata. The fighting methods of Heian godan are comprised of the fighting systems of many advanced kata but they are encoded in the course of the kata and can not easily be found. The one who understands the principles of the previous Kata knows the complete Bunkai-method to decode every higher Kata.
Vol. 6: Tekki and Naihanchi - This video demonstrates the 3 Tekki-versions of Shotokan Kempo Karate from the BSK demonstrated by Werner Lind, Peter Schömbs, Ursel Arnold, Christian Lind and Markus Neudert. See advanced methods of Tuitejutsu (joint manipulationen) and Kyushojutsu (vital poit stimulationen) of the complex Bunkai from the Tekki of the Budo Studien Kreis.
Further on you will see the 3 Okinawa Naihanchi versions of the Kobayashi Shorin Ryu Shidokan. This okinawan style is represented in Germany by Sensei Joachim Laupp, a direct student of the okinawan Grandmaster Miyahira Katsuya (10. Dan Hanshi).
To understand the advanced bunkai methods of this Kata, the previous Heian videos fof Wertner Lind should be studied diligently.
Vol. 7: Bassai
Six Bassai versions (Matsumura-Passai, Oyadomari-Passai, Koryu-Passai, Itosu-Passai, Shotokan Bassai dai, Shotokan Bassai sho), become in word and picture, introduced including Bunkai and Okuden.
